Cynthia Bochenski
A very sad day for the Malke family today as we say goodbye to Auntie Anna, the last of our aunts on our mother Sophie's side of the family. Edward, thank you for handling everything and for creating the most beautiful memorial page here with the most beautiful picture of Auntie Anna. I want very bad to be there today for the funeral and for several reasons I can't, but I will be there in my heart.
I'm remembering the year 1977 when I escaped the blizzard here and went to live with Auntie Anna and Uncle RB, going to college and working in Texas, a nice experience for me. Auntie Anna and Uncle RB took me to their country club for dinner a few times where at my young age I was just in awe at how they lit up the dining room there with their magnetic personalities. They were the epitome of class, and both dressed like movie stars always, even at home. Their home in Cleburne was ready for a magazine shoot on any day, beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. These are some of the things I will remember.
My favorite verse in the Bible is where God tells us "I prepare a place for you". I will pray that Auntie Anna finds her place with Uncle RB and our mother Sophie and her parents, brothers and sisters who will be rejoicing that she is now there with them.
Until we meet again, and with love forever,
Cynthia Bochenski and family
