Obituary for Kathryn Byars (Graham)

Service for Kathryn Byars, 93, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:30 A.M., Thursday, April 6, 2017 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend Charles E. Payne and the Reverend Brooks Monk will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. No set visitation is scheduled.
Kathryn Byars passed away Monday, April 3, 2017 in Cleburne. She was born Aug. 21, 1923 in Alvarado to Howard Watson and Virdie Mae Walker Graham. She married Buster Byars on Oct. 20, 1946 in Alvarado.
Mrs. Byars worked as a supervisor for Texel Industries for many years. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her children, Patricia Poole of Burleson and Ricky Byars and wife Stacia of Cleburne; grandchildren, Katy Byars and fiancé Toby Mires and Cally Cantrell and husband Christopher; great grandson, Slaton Cantrell; and several other family and friends who will miss her greatly. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Cindy Kay Mullen; husband; and brother, Howard Graham.
